Education funding group hears testimony at Perkiomen Valley High School

Seven superintendents testify about the need to change the current system.

The Norristown Times Herald is one of a handful of outlets that staffed the latest public meeting of the Basic Education Funding Commission.

The Doylestown Intelligencer reports that superintendents from “suburban districts that would be considered well-off financially” testified about the need to change the current system.

The Philadelphia Inquirer says that seven superintendents described “… years of declining funds and increasing costs, program and staff cuts, and unpredictable allocations from the state.”
